But Donald Trump just fired off a blistering response to the January 6 Committee’s subpoena that left jaws on the floor.
Trump wants to “express anger” over the “Witch Hunt” that cost millions
The Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 incident on Capitol Hill has finally declared their intention to subpoena Donald Trump in the final days of their partisan witch hunt.
Trump wasted no time in issuing a letter responding to the one-sided show trial that they’ve been conducting for more than a year.
According to his letter, it was released to “express our anger, disappointment, and complaint that with all of the hundreds of millions of dollars spent” on a “Charade and Witch Hunt.”
Trump slammed the Select Committee for not having “spent even a short moment on examining the massive Election Fraud that took place during the 2020 Presidential Election, and have targeted only those who were, as concerned American Citizens, protesting the Fraud itself.”
Trump angered by “fraud” that will see perpetrators go “unblemished”
He called out the “two-tier system of Justice” and the fact that anyone “who committed the . . . Crime of the Century,” will go “unblemished and untouched” while the ones standing up “have suffered a fate that was unthinkable just a short time ago.”
He cites the Time Magazine article from February of 2021, when they officially told the public there was a “conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes” and that “in a way Trump was right” that the Washington, D.C. Swamp and corporate-controlled media were trying to put someone else in power.
The January 6 committee hasn’t once brought this up and they’re doing Americans a bigger disservice by ignoring what they might’ve previously called “misinformation.”
Trump reminded the committee that “a large percentage of American Citizens, including almost the entire Republican Party, feel that the Election was Rigged and Stolen.”
Trump says there could have been “peace, safety, and security at the Capitol”
He also reminded them that they have “willfully ignored the fact that days before January 6th, 2021, [he] recommended and authorized thousands of troops to be deployed to ensure that there was peace, safety, and security at the Capitol . . . ”
Unfortunately, not only did the D.C. Mayor refuse the deployment in writing but also the Capitol Police who report to Nancy Pelosi.
Trump wants to know why “Nancy Pelosi is off limits, there will be no discussions on this subject, yet she and the Mayor were responsible for this very bad decision not to bring in the troops.”
Trump attaches evidence along with pictures of Patriots peacefully protesting in large numbers
Trump attached in the appendix to his letter, images of enormous crowds on January 6 as well as fact sheets on Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
He presented evidence that he alleges would have turned the race in his favor for these key swing states.
Evidence he argues was never allowed to be presented in any court.
Whether or not the January 6 committee wants to believe it, Trump argued that a “Majority of people in our Country say that the Presidential Election of 2020 was determinatively dishonest.”
His letter put that on full display, and he further warned the members of the committee “Election Day is coming,” and “the people of this Country will not stand for unequal justice under the law . . .”
Liz Cheney already learned this in her primary.
Perhaps the Democrat Party should take note of her loss.
