Donald Trump finally made this one campaign promise that has the ruling class elites more nervous than ever

The ruling class elites in Washington, D.C. are in the process of making a number of under-the-radar moves that will fundamentally destroy individual liberty.

They are determined to remake the U.S. in Communist China’s image.

But now Donald Trump finally made this one campaign promise that has the ruling class elites more nervous than ever.

CBDCs are a dangerous evolution in government control

In January 2022, Canadian truckers descended on Ottawa in a demonstration that was meant to send a major message to woke extremist Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Members of Parliament over their authoritarian COVID-19 mandates and power grabs.

The goal was to put an end to the nationwide requirement for truckers to be vaccinated.

Instead, they were met with an authoritarian response from ruling class Canadians.

Riot police were deployed, working class Canadians were arrested for simply speaking out, and anyone supporting the groups saw their financial assets frozen by the Canadian government – a move typically reserved for the likes of Communist China and Russia.

At this point, most people have forgotten about the trucker convoys and moved on with their life.

But the next logical evolution of the government freezing bank accounts to punish non-compliance still lingers.

Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) are currently being researched by the U.S., Canadian, and other western governments, and could be the key to more authoritarian overreach.

Few people are discussing CBDCs, and one of them just dropped out of the 2024 Republican Presidential Primary.

We should do the opposite of what the CCP is doing

Vivek Ramaswamy has been a vocal critic of CBDCs, and one of his most popular campaign promises was his plan to prevent American ruling class elites from implementing them.

“I’d love nothing more than for everyone in the field to jump on the CBDC issue with me,” Ramaswamy wrote on X.

“I have a one-word answer to central bank digital currencies: NO,” Ramaswamy said earlier in the campaign. “The fact that China is doing it isn’t a reason to do it. It’s a reason to ask why exactly the CCP is doing it & to make sure our government doesn’t copy them.”

The user praised him for being “the *only one* amongst all candidates planning to run who is acknowledging CBDCs.”

Unfortunately, he was right at the time – no one was even mentioning this dangerous new tool favored by the most repressive authoritarian regimes on Earth.

That remained mostly true until Ramaswamy dropped out and endorsed former President Donald Trump.

Trump vows to “stop it from coming to America”

Now, Trump is speaking out about Ramaswamy’s favorite topic.

“As your President, I will never allow the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency,” Trump said in a campaign speech in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Trump warned that “such a currency would give the federal government absolute control over your money… [and] this would a dangerous treat to freedom.”

The former President vowed to “stop it from coming to America,” and to seek further reforms that would prevent banks from interfering in politics.

Trump plans “to put in place strong protections to stop banks and regulators from trying to de-bank you for your political beliefs.”

“That will never happen while I am your President,” he added.

Ramaswamy fans were disappointed when he dropped out of the race after the Iowa Caucuses.

But this should be a major consolation for them as they turn to support Donald Trump.
