Americans once looked to late-night talk shows for entertainment.

Some of America’s most popular media figures were late-night show hosts.

But Donald Trump burst out laughing after this struggling late-night host threw in the towel.

Jimmy Kimmel hints at retirement

Americans have turned their backs on cable and network television, meaning that some late-night shows have failed to attract the viewers they once did.

Moreover, many late-night show hosts, like Seth Myers, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Kimmel, have completely succumbed to the woke mind virus, constantly bashing Donald Trump and anybody who dares to support him.

Kimmel, in particular, has earned a reputation for his radical left-wing politics, which many media experts believe attributes to his low ratings.

However, in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Kimmel signaled that he might not stick around in the late-night television sphere for much longer.

“I think this is my final contract,” Kimmel said. “I hate to even say it because everyone’s laughing at me now — each time I think that, and then it turns out to not be the case.”

“I still have a little more than two years left on my contract, and that seems pretty good,” he added. “That seems like enough.”

Without skipping a beat, former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social.

“They could get a far more talented person, who would also get better Ratings, for 5% of what they are paying this Loser!” Trump wrote.

As far as late-night hosts go, few have done more to alienate the overwhelming majority of the country that isn’t brainwashed by woke extremism than Kimmel, who has seen his viewership tumble as a result.

In November 2022, Kimmel appeared on the Naked Lunch Podcast, where he even admitted that he has lost at least half of his viewership due to his radical politics, yet he does not regret losing them one bit.

“I have lost half of my fans — maybe more than that,” Kimmel said in 2022, Kimmel said at the time. “Ten years ago, among Republicans, I was the most popular talk show host, at least according to the research that they did.”

Radicals like Kimmel are willing to nosedive their career to attack Trump

Radical far-left media figures like Kimmel and Myers have a deep-rooted hatred for Trump and anyone who doesn’t hate the former President as much as they believe one should.

As a result, their careers have nearly hit rock bottom, and their ratings remain in the gutters.

At the end of the day, most Americans do not want to sit down and have some Hollywood snob lecture them on anything.

Hosts like Jimmy Kimmel are so far removed from the lives of working class Americans, and his inability to connect with them and make them laugh may just cost him his talk show.
