The Walt Disney Company once prided itself on being a family-friendly entertainment company.
These days, the exact opposite seems to be true.
Fortunately, many Americans have had enough of and this top Republican Senator is prepared to do something about it.
One of the primary goals of Walt Disney was to create an entertainment experience that was family friendly, and that taught children basic values such as kindness, resiliency, and self-worth.
Today, woke corporate executives seem to be driving the company hard in the other direction.
Whether it is their shows and movies, or their massive theme parks, Disney is making it their mission to brainwash children with perverted messages.
Instead of learning to treat others with kindness, children are learning about transgenderism.
Things have gotten so bad at Disney World that workers can no longer say “Ladies and Gentleman, boy and girls” with the fear that they could be offending somebody.
If Walt Disney were alive today, he would very likely be mortified by the abomination that his company has become.
Fortunately, there are some who are willing to stand up to this dangerous media giant, including United States Senator Josh Hawley.
In fact, recently, Senator Hawley announced that he would be introducing a bill before the Senate that would reverse some special protections given by the federal government to Walt Disney Company.
These include special copyright protections among others.
This combined with Florida’s recent abolition of their self governing privileges is setting Walt Disney Company on a crash course for disaster.
Having said that, it’s hard to feel bad for Disney.
Over the last several months, internal videos have been released of top executives at Disney admitting that they are putting LGBT references everywhere they possibly can with the intent of brainwashing children from a young age.
To make matters worse, Disney’s streaming service, Disney+, has added disclaimers on G rated movies such as Aladdin and Mulan due to what they deem to be “racial stereotypes.”
Americans are fed up with woke nonsense like this and hitting Disney where it hurts – their wallets.
Some are canceling their Disney+ subscriptions. Others are avoiding the theme parks.
One thing’s for sure. If people start fighting back and bills like Senator Hawley’s start to pass, the woke corporate executives will be forced to take notice.
