J.D. Vance has become a top target for Democrats and their media allies.
One of the biggest names on the Left joined the fray.
And Barack Obama picked one fight with J.D. Vance that he’s going to live to regret.
Obama takes a shot at Vance while praising Walz
Former President Barack Obama has taken an increasingly active role in the 2024 election.
He worked behind the scenes with Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to force President Joe Biden to exit the race.
Obama’s former Attorney General and friend, Eric Holder, ran the search for Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate.
For her Vice Presidential pick, Harris picked Minnesota Democrat Governor Tim Walz, who reportedly had the backing of Obama.
He used an announcement praising Walz to take a subtle shot at former President Donald Trump’s running mate, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH).
“When a Presidential candidate chooses a running mate, it says a lot about who they are and what kind of President they’ll be,” Obama said. “Do they pick someone inexperienced and polarizing who will deepen our divisions?”
The “inexperienced” line is a direct shot at the 40-year-old first-term Senator from Ohio.
But Obama came under fire when he ran for President in 2008 as a 46-year-old first-term Senator.
Vance has been falsely accused of being “polarizing” after Democrats’ and their media allies whipped up a controversy over him saying the Democrat Party was run by “childless cat ladies” to mock their anti-family policies.
Harris’ choice for Vice President is one of the most divisive candidates to run for national office.
Walz – a far-left radical supported by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) – said during a Zoom fundraiser for Harris, “One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.”
Obama explains the reasoning behind the Walz pick
Pennsylvania Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro was the front-runner for Democrats’ Vice Presidential slot at the end of the process.
Veteran journalist Mark Halperin, who first reported that Biden would drop out, signaled that Shapiro was going to be Harris’ pick.
The Pennsylvania Governor has done a relatively decent job pretending to be what today’s Democrat Party considers a “moderate,” and had a 60% approval rating in the must-win battleground state.
But Walz was the popular pick among Democrats’ woke extremist minions for his tenure as Governor – and of course, Shapiro being Jewish certainly didn’t help the Party’s efforts to keep their anti-Semitic, pro-terrorist base happy.
Instead of picking Shapiro to balance the ticket and get an edge in Pennsylvania, Harris went with her fellow woke extremist socialist.
“Tim’s signature is his ability to talk like a human being and treat everyone with decency and respect,” Obama said. “Not all that surprising considering the fact that he served in the National Guard for 24 years and worked as a high school social studies teacher and football coach before being elected to Congress.”
Walz’s biography and time in Congress representing a rural Minnesota district has provided Democrats a smokescreen through which they can pretend he’s a “moderate.”
This phony persona can help speak to working class voters in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania that Harris needs to win.
But he’s a radical Democrat in the mold of one of the members of Ocasio-Cortez’s “Squad.”
Kamala Harris is leading the most extreme left-wing Presidential in American history.
