After watching the ruling class sit on their hands for decades as the southern border spiraled into chaos amidst an invasion of illegal aliens, Americans are now demanding immediate action.
But the politicians and unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. have no interest in actually doing their jobs.
And now Americans are up in arms after self-proclaimed “Republicans” stabbed them in the back with this massive betrayal.
Biden has made his “decision” on the border
Americans are tired of seeing politicians and unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. do nothing about the Biden border crisis, especially as countless American cities nationwide – most of which are controlled by Democrats – warn they are buckling under the weight of the illegal alien surge.
The Democrat President has continued to deny his record on the border, claiming that it is Republicans who rejected his proposals that are really to blame, even though Democrats controlled the House, Senate, and White House when he took office and could have passed any border security measures they wanted without a single Republican vote.
Now, the Senate has finally reached a “bipartisan agreement” that they claim will solve all the problems.
“Now we’ve reached an agreement on a bipartisan national security deal that includes the toughest and fairest set of border reforms in decades. I strongly support it,” Biden said.
But the Democrat President knows that it will face an uphill battle in the Republican-led House.
“Now, House Republicans have to decide. Do they want to solve the problem? Or do they want to keep playing politics with the border? I’ve made my decision,” he said.
There’s an obvious reason why Biden expects Republicans to reject it.
Up to 5,000 illegal border crossings every single daily
Approximately $4 billion in taxpayer money will be allocated to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for an additional 4,338 asylum officers to expedite claims.
Senator Krysten Sinema (I-AZ) says it will help officials “do an interview” at the point of entry to determine if the illegal aliens meet the requirements for asylum.
The total cost of the bill is $118 billion in taxpayer money, but not all of it will be targeted at stopping the influx of illegal aliens at the southern border.
Over half of the more than $100 billion in taxpayer money will be shipped overseas to secure the borders of Ukraine and Israel.
If it passes the House, Ukraine would be set to receive $48 billion in additional taxpayer funds taken from working class Americans, and Israel would be funded to the tune of $16 billion in taxpayer money.
The bill would allow for up to 5,000 illegal alien crossings per day.
If the Customs and Border Patrol have a week that averages more than the proposed cap, then President Biden would have the option to shut down the border until the average decreases to 3,750 daily, but much like current laws, he can simply ignore it.
House Republicans are already furious over it.
“DEAD on arrival”
Republican leadership in the House has already flatly rejected the proposal in a joint statement following the announcement of the “bipartisan agreement.”
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN), and GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) led the charge.
“House Republicans oppose the Senate immigration bill because it fails in every policy area needed to secure our border and would actually incentivize more illegal immigration,” they said.
The Representatives slammed the bill for increasing “work authorizations for illegal aliens while failing to include critical asylum reforms” and “effectively” endorsing Biden’s policy of “catch and release.”
“The so-called ‘shut down’ authority in the bill is anything but, riddled with loopholes that grant far too much discretionary authority to Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas—who has proven he will exploit every measure possible, in defiance of law, to keep the border open,” they added.
The leaders said that the bill is “DEAD on arrival in the House” and they are urging their fellow Republicans in the Senate to “reject it.”
Americans should prepare for this battle to continue all the way to Election Day.
