The corporate press likes to describe the America First movement as some sort of “racist” and “xenophobic” movement.
They tell their audiences that Republicans and anyone who agrees with them on any issue are the worst humans on the planet and therefore should be exterminated from society.
And now all hell broke loose after USA Today published a racist attack on Ron DeSantis that will leave you steaming mad.
Racist columnist attacks DeSantis’ bill blocking funding for DEI initiatives
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been stepping into major culture war moments that have earned him huge praise from working class Americans.
But with huge praise from everyday citizens comes huge attacks from Democrats and their media allies.
In an essay published by USA Today last week, columnist Rex Huppke took a swing at the Governor for stopping literally racist Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives at colleges in the state.
Huppke entitled his essay, “Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis does the white thing by banning DEI funding at universities.”
This was a reference to Florida’s Senate Bill 266, which DeSantis signed into law.
The legislation prohibits the state from using taxpayer money to promote these programs in higher education.
Governor DeSantis said that “DEI is better viewed as standing for Discrimination, Exclusion, and Indoctrination.”
Huppke didn’t mince words at all in his attack on DeSantis for removing racism from government schools.
Huppke repeatedly used the word “white” as a derogatory slur
The author implied that DeSantis and his supporters “never once had to worry about or value diversity, equity or inclusion,” and repeated that this bill was “definitely the white move.”
He said that the Governor was “asking the most diverse generation ever to forget this whole ‘diversity’ thing.”
He continued the racist use of the word “white” by saying that this is “what DeSantis and his supporters would call ‘progress’ and they’re absolutely white.”
He warned college administrators to never let a “sneaky, inclusion-loving professor claim ‘systemic racism, sexism and privilege’ exist.”
“Don’t worry,” Huppke added. “I’m sure the most racially and ethnically diverse generation of all time will be fine with this attempt to cast diversity as something unnecessary and nefarious. Everything’s going to be all-white!”
The article was shared on Twitter which led to a firestorm of condemnation.
Twitter users call Huppke and USA Today racist and an “embarrassment”
Political commentator Ian Miles Cheong was one of the first to pile on USA Today.
He blasted the essay, saying “the media is not hiding its racism against whites anymore. If you support meritocracy, that means you’re ‘doing the white thing.’”

Other smaller accounts joined in condemning the choice of words.
One Twitter user described the article as “atrocious,” adding that it “reads as if written by a small child.”
Another use simply stated, “So USA Today is openly racist,” while a final user declared they are “an embarrassment to journalism.”
What a truly racist headline. It is amazing that you purport to be a legitimate news periodical.

This comes at a time when Democrats are continuously vilifying all white humans, claiming they are born as inherently evil and racist “oppressors.”
This has caused a rise in DEI initiatives that are creating an even deeper divide in our country, as exhibited by Huppke’s essay.
