New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a history of making everything about her.
That habit does not do any favors for her or the Democrat Party.
And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is in hot water because of what this January 6 video shows.
Democrats produced their Kangaroo Court hearings for primetime
Democrats and the corporate-controlled media seized on the January 6 Committee’s primetime Stalinist show trial to score political points against Republicans.
The entire reason for this exercise in propaganda was to boost Democrats’ chances in the Midterm elections.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stepped in it
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tried to help that messaging effort by posting a video of a crowd breaking into the Capitol and claiming she was traumatized all over again by it.

“To whose body? The AP said you weren’t there?” conservative commentator Dana Loesch wrote in response.
Loesch also linked to an Associated Press fact check describing that Ocasio-Cortez was not actually in the Capitol when the crowd entered the building.
Instead, Ocasio-Cortez was in her office in the Cannon Building, which is connected to the Capitol by a series of underground tunnels patrolled by Capitol Police.
The Associated Press reported at the time, “Ocasio-Cortez’s office is across the street from the main Capitol building, in the Cannon building, which AP reporters on the scene confirmed was evacuated during the riots.”
“The Cannon building is also connected to the Capitol building by a series of tunnels, which allow members of Congress to travel between buildings underground,” the Associated Press added.
Loesch linked to that article because in the immediate aftermath of January 6, Ocasio-Cortez tried to make it seem like her life was under threat that day because Trump supporters tried to barge into her office to rape and kill her.
There was just one problem with Ocasio-Cortez’s story that day
Ocasio-Cortez’s story was quite a terrifying one.
The only problem was, the crowd was never in the Cannon building, and the people banging on the door of Ocasio-Cortez’s office were police officers.
No Trump supporter was ever near Ocasio-Cortez’s office.
Facts are stubborn things
But critics contend Ocasio-Cortez wanted to make sure she was at the center of the event, which is why she gave the impression she was in actual danger when – thankfully – she was not.
Of course, Democrats have never been ones to let facts stand in the way of a good narrative.
And Ocasio-Cortez’s post just reminded everyone the depths to which Democrats will stoop to exploit January 6 for political gain.
