Of all of the household goods that are skyrocketing in price, gas is by far the most noticeable.
You will be hard pressed to find gas anywhere below $4.50 a gallon anywhere across the nation.
And a top Republican Senator just grilled this White House official over record-high gas prices.
This country has never seen fuel prices this high.
And the scary thing is, they are only set to get worse.
Many experts believe that fuel prices could get as high as $8 or $9 a gallon on average.
Some are saying it could get even higher, which is evidenced by many gas stations buying new signs to accommodate double-digit prices.
Although Joe Biden has placed the blame for these price hikes on Russia, the truth is, there is much more that could have been done to mitigate this crisis.
First off, the Biden administration’s first action in office was to destroy projects to build oil pipelines from friendly neighbors like Canada.
Then to make matters worse, the Biden administration has denied leases to oil companies to drill in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico.
It seems as if Biden and his handlers are doing everything in their power to make gas prices unbearably high
But fortunately there are some in Washington, D.C. who are fighting back for consumers.
Just the other day, Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri absolutely grilled Biden’s Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm.
Hawley began, “From January to August, the price of gasoline was up over 30 percent in my state alone. It has been a continuous, continuous upward tick since then.”
He went on to explain what Biden’s done, step-by-step to cause the rise in gas prices, saying, “He immediately reentered the Paris Climate Accord. He canceled the Keystone Pipeline. He halted leasing programs in ANWR. He issued a 60-day halt on all new oil and gas leases and drilling permits on federal lands and waters.”
Naturally, Granholm did everything possible to evade the grilling, but Hawley’s point was made.
Joe Biden has done everything in his power, from the day he took the oath of office, to make fuel prices increase.
This in many ways was by design so that Americans would be more dependent on alternative fuel sources, but this plan is backfiring in a major way.
Americans are fed up, and this November expect people to remember these sky high prices when they head to the ballot box.
