A group of top Republicans made one bold move that had John Kerry sweating bullets

John Kerry is like a cold sore that just won’t go away.

Now he’s engaged in one shocking cover up.

And a group of top Republicans made one bold move that had John Kerry sweating bullets.

Joe Biden’s controversial “Climate Czar”

President Joe Biden borrowed a page from his former boss Barack Obama’s playbook with his use of “czars” for key positions in the regime.

Barack Obama pioneered the use of czars by appointing them to key government jobs created by the President, which allowed them to avoid Congressional approval and operate outside of oversight.

Biden resurrected environmental wacko John Kerry’s political career by appointing him as the regime’s climate czar.

Kerry is one of the architects of the radical green energy agenda that Biden is trying to force on America.

In his position as the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, Kerry is working with extreme environmental groups to help direct the regime’s climate cult agenda.

Kerry has been trying to avoid any oversight of his office, which has 45 staffers and an estimated budget of nearly $14 million.

Internal emails from Kerry’s office obtained by the government watchdog group Protect the Public’s Trust showed staffers discussing plans that “we can’t put on paper” and redacted the staffers’ names under the “personal privacy information” exemption.

Kerry’s office is trying to evade federal records and transparency laws to carry out their green schemes.

House Republicans are looking to hold John Kerry accountable

Now, top House Republicans are trying to get to the bottom of Kerry’s shady climate czar operation and his attempt to avoid scrutiny.

As the ranking member of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, Representative James Comer (R-KY) is one of the top Republican watchdogs in Congress.

Comer and other House Republicans sent a letter to Kerry demanding answers about his work with radical environmental groups and the climate czar’s office.

Kerry has spent the past year ducking oversight from Republicans like Jim Jordan (R-OH) by refusing to answer any questions about his office.

“Despite not being confirmed by the U.S. Senate, Secretary Kerry appears to be actively negotiating with the Chinese Communist Party and is partnering with radical, left-wing environmental groups to push Green New Deal policies at the expense of the American people,” Comer told Fox News Digital. “Instead of ignoring our requests for information, the Biden Administration should provide the American people details on Secretary Kerry’s role and what authority, if any, he has to broker deals with hostile foreign adversaries.”

Kerry’s Chinese controversy raises further questions

Kerry came under fire for brokering a climate change deal with the Chinese last year while dismissing any concerns about the communist government.

“At a time when Americans are paying more for electricity and gasoline, the public deserve to understand your role in the government, how your office is spending their hard-earned tax dollars, who you employ to carry out your mission, and with which organizations you are consulting,” the GOP lawmakers wrote to Kerry. “Deliberate efforts to shield your office from oversight are unacceptable, and raise further questions about your role in policymaking.”

John Kerry is trying to evade Congressional Republicans so he can force his radical environmental agenda on the country.
