A Democrat Senator left jaws on the floor when he acknowledged Donald Trump was right

China has been trying to infiltrate our tech sector for years and the battle will never end.

Donald Trump sounded the alarm on China for his entire campaign and Presidency and many people criticized him for it.

Now one Democrat Senator left jaws on the floor when he acknowledged Donald Trump was right.

TikTok is more than some stupid social media fad and Donald Trump warned us

The TikTok app is a social phenomenon here in the United States.

You can’t scroll through another social network to see their signature short videos popping into your feed.

Some might think that TikTok is totally harmless.

If anything, it’s just a bunch of young people doing stupid things, right?

Well, it’s not that simple and there’s one person that warned everyone about TikTok’s dark side a long time ago – Donald Trump.

Most people laughed at the idea that it could be dangerous.

Now the truth is all coming out.

Democrat Senator Mark Warner says that “Donald Trump was right” about TikTok

The Democrat chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Mark Warner, gave an interview on Fox News warning against using the Chinese-owned social media app.

“I think Donald Trump was right. I mean, TikTok is an enormous threat,” the top Democrat said.

He went on to explain that “if you’re a parent, and you’ve got a kid on TikTok, I would be very, very concerned. All of that data your child is inputting and receiving is being stored somewhere in Beijing.”

Warner and Trump aren’t the only ones who have warned about the app’s possible consequences. The current FCC Commissioner, Brenan Carr has been seeking to ban the app entirely due to its parent company’s affiliation with the Chinese Communist Party.

TikTok collects more than just the content that you upload – a lot more

ByteDance, the parent company to TikTok, has been widely accused of working with the CCP to spy on and control the users of the app.

They want to gather as much data as they can and censor any sensitive content.

Tom Cotton would suggest that you shouldn’t even have the app on your phone.

He explained in an interview on Fox News, “It’s not just the content you upload to TikTok but all the data on your phone, other apps, all of your personal information.”

If that’s not enough, Cotton warned that the app can also collect “facial recognition imagery” and “track where your eyes are looking on your phone.”

FBI Director Wray cites “national security concerns” to Congress

Even FBI Director Christopher Wray showed concern when he testified in front of Congress last week.

He agreed that there are “national security concerns” with the social media app.

He says that “the [CCP] could use it to control data collection on millions of users, or control the recommendation algorithm which could be used for influence operations if they so choose.”

Wray even echoed Cotton’s concern saying the CCP could effectively use TikTok to “control software on millions of devices.”

Biden chose the CCP’s interests over Americans interests

All this in mind, President Biden chose to cancel sanctions imposed on TikTok by then President Trump.

Biden stated at the time, “this data collection threatens to provide foreign adversaries with access” to “swathes of information from users.”

He had the same knowledge as everyone else.

But Biden still chose the CCP over American interests.
